The SDSS 2507 grade is a high-strength stainless steel grade. A Super Duplex 2507 Plate is designed with a superior chemical composition of chromium, nickel, and molybdenum. This allows the plate to have good resistance to localized corrosion and reducing oxidants. The 2507 Stainless Steel Plate provides stability and strength to different applications and is mostly designed in thickness above 6mm or more. A 2507 Super Duplex Plate has exceptional resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking and pitting by acids. These plates are designed to work well in temperatures up to 600 degrees F. The Duplex 2507 Plate has a low thermal expansion and has a combination of austenitic and ferritic microstructure, giving it the properties of both the grades. The UNS S32750 Plate has good workability along with weldability. The plates in the S32750 grades are nearly identical to the components in the UNS S32760 Plate. However, the S32760 grade is designed to work well in aggressive conditions and has good resistance to stress corrosion cracking compared to the latter.
The Super Duplex 2507 Sheet is a robust grade that is designed in thickness below 6mm but above 0.5mm. These sheets are not utilized to provide stability to the grade but are employed to add an aesthetical outlook to different fixtures. A 2507 Stainless Steel Sheet has a density of 7.8 g/cm3 and has an outstanding melting point of 1350 degrees C in the system. The Duplex 2507 Sheet has a minimum tensile strength of 116ksi with a minimum yield strength of 80ksi. This sheet can be easily elongated by 15% in the system. Super Duplex 2507 Strip is one of the thinnest metal grades that is designed in thickness of less than 0.5mm. These strips act as a filler material in different applications. The ASTM A240 UNS S32750 grade has good weldability and lower weight which dramatically reduces the overall cost of the operation. The ASTM A240 UNS S32760 grade is specially designed to work in treacherous chloride-containing environments.
