The ASTM A789 PIPE is designed with a chemical composition of carbon, manganese, phosphorous, sulfur, silicon, nickel, chromium, molybdenum, and nickel. The ASTM A789 UNS S31803 grade covers piping components that are designed in seamless and welded configurations that suit different conditions. The ASTM A789 UNS S32205 Duplex grade has a slightly higher content of nitrogen than the S31803 grade allowing it to have a better protective layer of coating than the latter. An SA 789 UNS S32205 grade consists of an austenitic and ferritic microstructure giving it exceptional strength and superior tolerance compared to standard austenitic grade steel.

The ASTM A789 UNS S32750 has excellent resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in a wide spectrum of environments. These grades are quality assured and manufactured with the best material. A SA 789 UNS S32750 grade is solution annealed at temperatures of 1100 degrees followed by water quenching. The items in this grade have excellent weldability and workability. The ASTM A789 UNS S32760 fixture has a minimum tensile strength of 620mpa with a minimum yield strength of 450mpa and can be elongated by 25% in the system. They possess a hardness of 290 Brinell. SA 789 UNS S32760 has the capability to work in slightly aggressive conditions where there are higher reducers when compared to the items of the UNS S32750 grade.
